I don’t usually go to sales only for the simple reason that by the time they have started I have already spent my entire years budget on NON SALE ITEMS, thus leaving no room for sales. I must admit though, that lately I have received quite a few invites to PRE-SALES EVENTS (for those of you who don’t know pre-sales are like sales for very important people, and though I am definitely not VIP, I am probably the only one who leaves my real address and email when I go into stores.) So after like the 2nd invite I was feeling a bit of pressure and decided I should drive to Nice and go have a look. Fortunately I was able to convince a close girlfriend of mine to come along. WHO ALSO KEPT ME FROM BUYING PROBABLY THE ONE AND ONLY THING I REALLY NEEDED IN MY WARDROBE.
We arrive in Nice just after the store’s have opened and stroll the upscale promenades of Nice’s most famous shopping area for nearly 2 full hours, going into just about all the beautiful stores on Rue Paradis and Rue de Suede. We go into Bonpoint, where everything is 50% off, fortunately they have finished almost all the sale items. We go into Hermes, and then into Louis Vuitton, we walk over to Flamant which is closed and on our way back to the car we find an American Vintage..a store that makes like 10 million t-shirts each and every one of them in a different style and color. We each ended up with a small bag of tee’s, as well as a few other little things. A nice way to spend part of the day, shopping in downtown Nice.
